Baycross Christian Family Foundation awarded a grant to Eagles Wings Counseling Center to substantially 
fund their Wings of Hope program. Since Eagle’s Wings became a non-profit organization in October of 2011, their goal has been to serve as many clients as possible, regardless of their ability to pay. In order to make this goal a reality, Eagles Wings developed the Wings of Hope Fund, which is supplied by donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations. Since its beginning, the Wings of Hope program has given aid to over 630 families in our community. The Wings of Hope money offsets the cost of counseling services, allowing us to charge clients a fee that is well below our normal sliding scale fee, making it affordable for them to receive the services they need to improve their lives. This results in a better quality of life, healthier marriages and families, and many people who are more equipped to cope with life’s challenges and difficulties. This, in turn, results in healthier relationships, work environments, school functioning and a healthier community.
