Baycross Christian Family Foundation awarded a grant to Replay Outreach, Inc. to reach young, at-risk women. Replay Outreach exists to mobilize individuals, churches, and communities to reach at-risk youth in every local juvenile justice facility, school and club in Manatee County and to encourage and challenge each youth to find their direction, passion and purpose for their lives. It is their mission and ministry to change the course of Manatee County’s criminal justice system by preventing or breaking the cycle of repeated relapse into crime. Due to the growing need for such a program for young women, Baycross Christian Family Foundation awarded a grant to Replay Outreach to invest toward its Xceleration program for young women in Manatee County. These young women between the ages of 14 to 18 years old, demonstrate at-risk behaviors and come from disadvantaged neighborhoods. Through the Replay Outreach Xceleration program, these young women will complete the 4 phases of the Xceleration program utilizing the same high quality, evidence based curriculum as their male counterparts. They will also have access to Replay’s resource center.
