Baycross Christian Family Foundation awarded a matching grant to SOLVE Maternity Homes to open and operate a maternity home in Sarasota in 2015
. SOLVE is a group of Christ-centered residential maternity homes which provide housing and a structured program (free of charge) to at-risk pregnant women and their babies. SOLVE’S dedicated staff is committed to serving each woman and child with dignity and respect. SOLVE assists its residents in developing a personal plan-of-care specifically designed to meet their current and future needs, whether they choose to parent or place for adoption.
SOLVE’S holistic program focuses on meeting the emotional, physical, spiritual needs of each woman. Helping her to discover who God created her to be enables her to determine which educational track is best suited for her to pursue and to make informed decisions for herself and her child.
The SOLVE program currently provides support through the duration of pregnancy and for a pre-determined time post-birth. Recently, SOLVE was donated a home in Sarasota to be outfitted and used as a SOLVE maternity home in Sarasota. The matching grant from Baycross will enable SOLVE to outfit and operate this home in 2015 and to open its doors to four additional resident women, their babies, and a house manager by September 1!
