Baycross Christian Family Foundation awarded a grant to Eagles Wings Christian Counseling Centers for the expansion and continuation of two much-needed sexual addiction recovery groups: “More Than Conquerors” and “Restored H.E.A.R.T.S Programs. The More Than Conquerors program is designed to provide escape and victory for men who are caught in the prison of pornography and sexual addiction. To address the needs of the spouses of sex addicts, Eagles Wings offers the Restored H.E.A.R.T.S. Program (Healing Emotionally After Relationship Trauma Strikes). Due to the nature of recovery from sexual addiction (usually a 2-5 year process), participants in both programs will go through a yearlong program, with ongoing support groups lead by “graduates” who have been in our program for several years.
The goal is to be able to offer 4-5 men’s groups and 2-3 women’s groups per week throughout the entire year of 2017 in both our Venice and Sarasota. The grant from Baycross will allow Eagles Wings to offer these recovery groups at an affordable cost cost for the men and women who will participate.
