Baycross Christian Family Foundation, in partnership with Serve Florida and Community Assistance Ministry (CAM), has awarded a grant to Grace by Faith Baptist Church of Englewood for the purchase of a large trailer that will carry massive loads of food to multiple food pantries in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Grace by Faith Church has been fully committed to feeding the homeless and needy in our area and has earned the trust and respect of several different food suppliers in and out of the state. Pastor Donnie Green of Grace by Faith Church has been using his personal vehicle to pick up and drop off food for the needy six days a week. The food available to Pastor Donnie for distribution to food pantries is in abundant supply. The only limitation on this ministry has been transportation and space. With the grant from Baycross for the purchase of a 20ft trailer, Pastor Donnie will be able to transport 5x more food to local food banks that serve the homeless and needy.
