The Baycross Christian Family Foundation awarded a grant to Live the Life Bradenton to help four couples who are struggling to save their marriage. These four couples have a total of 12 children. These families desperately need help from Live the Live marriage coaches and do not have the funds to pay for it.
A powerful quote from U.S. Senator Marco Rubio on January 8, 2014 sums up the policy areas impacted by marriage:
“The truth is, the greatest tool to lift children and families from poverty is one that decreases the probability of child poverty by 82%. But it isn’t a government spending program. It’s called marriage. Fifty years ago, today, when the War on Poverty was launched, 93% of children born in the United States were form to married parents. By 2010 that number has plummeted to 60%. It should not surprise us that 71% of poor families with children are not headed by a married couple.”
The grant from Baycross to Live the Life Bradenton will enable the marriage coaches at Live the Life to continue helping these 4 couples to reconcile and restore their marriages.
