BCFF awards matching grant to Harvest House Transitional Centers for the Home Again Program

BCFF is pleased to support the Harvest House "Home Again Program." Harvest House is the largest provider of housing to low-income families in Sarasota. The Home Again Program offers permanent supportive and short-term transitional housing for chronically homeless families in Sarasota County. Home Again also operates the Harvest House Family Haven, an emergency shelter for families in crisis who have no safe place to sleep. In 2014, the Home Again Program served 100 families and over 200 children. Harvest House follow-up case management shows that at least 80% of families who complete its collaborative services program maintain stable employment and permanent housing for at least one year after program completion. The grant from BCFF will allow the Harvest House to continue the current services of the Harvest House Family Haven for the next two years and to continue its collaboration with partner agencies that serve the homeless. BCFF is honored to partner with Harvest House to share the love of Jesus with all of mankind!
