o The Baycross Foundation (BCFF) is a private, grant-making organization serving the not-for-profit community of Southwest Florida and. Established in 2014, the Foundation is guided by Christian principles. The Foundation’s resources provide funding for important programs designed to help the needy of our community.
o BCFF helps organizations who do good things in our community. It is the goal of BCFF to provide for these needs with enthusiasm and resources. With a diverse and generous qualification program, we encourage you to contact us directly to see if your program should be considered prior to the submission of an application. Your organization must be headquartered within Southwest Florida.
Yes. You must submit proof of your exemption status to the Foundation to be considered for funding.
o Grant awards are made on a case-by-case basis by our Board. While programs oriented toward human services, education, and Christian missions are typically the focus of the foundation, we will consider any programs and concepts that improve the quality of life of our community.
o We typically request documentation regarding your funding needs. Grants typically range from $2,500 to $50,000, with more substantial amounts being generated on a challenge match basis.
Grant requests are made on a case-by-case basis. However, BCFF does not typically provide funding for operating expenses. Our attention is on “helping the needy.” We’ve determined our resources are best used for program funding.
At this time we do not consider applications from individuals for scholarships or for individual research grants, but this policy may change in the future.
o BCFF may consider loan requests from eligible organizations looking for financial support to expand and empower their operations in the community. Your organization’s credit history and financial stability would be important considerations for any loan program.
We want to assess our impact on the community. Therefore, Grantees have reporting obligations to BCFF. Upon completion of a grant, Grantees have reporting requirements. To learn more about the reporting requirements, please read the GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GRANTS
As long as there are needs to be met, grant requests can be made at any time. We take grant requests all year round.
At this time BCFF only accepts grant request submissions via mail. Please send a hard copy of your complete grant request to:

Re-application for the same grant will not be accepted during that same calendar year. If you have developed a new program or service that meets the eligibility criteria, you are welcome to call us.
